Trust

We trust those who manufacture our foods that they have not poisoned them in any way. We trust those who build our machinery that this equipment is not sabotaged. We trust the police to keep us safe and to not abuse their powers. We trust the military to remain loyal to our democratically elected government and to not use the high tech weapons and training that the people payed for against us. We get onto a plane, in faith that the pilot will indeed take you where the airline promised and not take you with them into the afterlife. We trust those we live with not to take advantage of our vulnerability when sleeping and murder us. Why in the world do we have such a hard time trusting God???
